| The instructions below are provided in order to help you export your video so that they may be uploaded to Use.com Videos. These instructions do not provide the steps necessary to capture and edit the videos. For detailed instructions on capturing and editing video, please refer to your specific video camera and software manuals. For general purpose capturing instructions, click
here. These instructions assume that iMovie is loaded and your final editing or capture session is in the timeline
viewer. |

From iMovies "File" menu, select "Share..." |
|
|

|
Select "Expert Settings" from the pull-down menu labeled "Compress movie for:" |

|
|
Click the "Share" button. |
|
|
|
|
Choose a filename for your video and type it into the box labeled "Save
As:" |
|
|
|
|
Click the "Options" button. |
|
|
|
|
A dialog window will appear similar to the one located below. Ensure that both "Video" and "Sound" check |
|
boxes are checked. |

|
|
In the "Video" sub panel, click "Settings..." |
|
|
|
|
Select "MPEG-4 Video" from the pull-down menu labeled "Compression Type:" |
|
|
|
|
Ensure that all settings match the ones illustrated below. 29.97 Frames Per Second , Automatic Key |

Frames , select the highest quality setting and restrict the Data Rate to 2500
kbits/sec then click
"OK." |

|
In the "Video" sub panel, click "Size..." |
|
|
|
|
Choose "Use custom size" and enter a width of 320, a height of 240 and click "OK." |

|
|
|
In the "Sound" sub panel, click "Settings..." |
|
|
|
|
Ensure that all settings match the ones illustrated below. AAC audio format , 44.100 kHz Sample

Show Advanced Settings , Set the AAC Encoder Settings then click "OK." |

|
|
Click "Save." |
|
|
|
|
Once you have have saved your video, go to "My Uploads" and upload your saved video file |
|
by clicking on the "Upload Now" button at the top of the page. |
